The pressure of pathological development of housing construction on the city today
My bachelor of arts „The pressure of pathological development of housing construction on the city today” is kind of manifesto of polish millennials and gen Z. The lack of a responsible housing policy in Poland is a huge problem for young people who, unlike the generations living in the Polish People's Republic, cannot count on the government in matters of housing construction. The Polish constitution contains a provision obliging the government to a responsible housing policy, but the government only supports development companies in building so-called investment apartments, because politicians buy them to increase their profits.
After I found a building that matched the type pathological development  I went to photograph it. I wanted to capture all the details frame by frame. Then I edited the images using Adobe Photoshop's Camera Raw feature.
Using masking, I marked the part I was interested in from the original photo, which I then copied onto a previously created document of appropriate size.
Then I composed a new structure from a series of cutouts.
I masked the fragments with a brush of appropriate sharpness.
I used correction layers to refine the composition.
I also had to prepare digital files for use in screen printing.
After creating the graphic in B1 format, I could scan it and assemble it to the target size.
The main technique is photo collage, in my case it is mainly digital. The main method is the multiplication of building fragments to create chaos of form.
To make my work intermedial, I used screen printing.
